Possible activities of the Fund Operator

The Fund Operator can support a broad range of activities and strategies to achieve the outputs and outcomes of the Fund and contribute to the Fund Objective.


  • Institutional capacity building, training, and exchange of best practice;

  • Support for bipartite and tripartite social dialogue;

  • Training of labour inspectorates and other regulatory authorities to enforce legislation that increases decent work arrangements and the quality of jobs;

  • Capacity building and awareness raising among social partners, and workers on the benefits of decent work;

  • Cooperation between public authorities, social partners, and civil society organisations to promote decent work;

  • Pilot projects;

  • Policy review, monitoring, and evaluation on areas where social dialogue and/or decent work are strengthened or promoted;

  • Bilateral cooperation on social dialogue and/or decent work;

  • Transnational cooperation, e.g., in response to social dumping and undeclared work and the integration of migrants and refugees.
